New Delhi: On Wednesday, political figures from various parties came together to commend the military for its successful missile strikes on nine terrorist sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir, part of the operation dubbed 'Operation Sindoor'. They took to social media to express their patriotism with slogans like 'Bharat Mata ki Jai' and 'Jai Hind'.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh expressed his support with a heartfelt 'Bharat Mata ki Jai', while Uttar Pradesh's Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath celebrated the operation with 'Jai Hind' and 'Jai Hind ki Sena'.
Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, conveyed his pride in the armed forces, concluding his message with 'Jai Hind'.
Eknath Shinde, Maharashtra's Deputy CM and a Shiv Sena leader, shared a post on X stating, 'Jai Hind. Operation Sindoor.'
Congress's Randeep Surjewala also joined in, posting simply 'Jai Hind.'
Union minister Chirag Paswan of LJP (Ram Vilas) remarked, 'Satyamev Jayate. Jai Hind ki Sena.'
Leaders from RJD praised the military's decisive action against terrorists based in Pakistan, rallying behind the slogan 'Bharatiya Sena Zindabad. Jai Hind.'
The operation specifically targeted the terror strongholds of the banned groups Jaish-e-Mohammed, Lashkar-e-Taiba, and Hizbul Mujahideen, with the Indian Air Force executing nighttime raids on nine locations in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir, as confirmed by officials on Wednesday.
Key targets included Markaz Subhan Allah in Bahawalpur, Sarjal at Tehra Kalan, Markaz Abbas in Kotli, and the Syedna Bilal camp in Muzaffarabad, all associated with the Jaish-e-Mohammed terror organization.
